The goal of the Utah Pioneer Project is to create a database of all Utah pioneers and to provide information on each pioneer, parents, siblings, spouse(s), children, and children’s spouses. This database may take years to complete.
The first stage of this project will focus on pioneers who came to Utah by 1850. The second stage will focus on those who came between 1850 and 1860. The third stage will focus on those who came between 1860 and May 1869 when the railroad was completed.
New information will be added often. Both primary and secondary sources will be used for each person. These sources are not equal in accuracy. Be sure to check what sources were used for the information on your ancestor. Information from additional sources will be added for people as the sources are checked.
